Chris, Credit Agricole did this at least twelve months ago with their CAStore which provides developers with the API. Some very interesting applications have been forthcoming.

All well and good folks (and I love the openess) but help me join this up.
Do BBVA hold any part of the IP for the solutions developed?
Have they employed any of the programmers?
What else might they expect to get out of this.....
