As many of you know, we have a vibrant Club community that has been running in various countries for a while now.
The London Club for England meets around three times a month, whilst our other constituencies meet once every six weeks.
With bases in Edinburgh, Dublin and Vienna, we have seen our network gradually expanding throughout Europe and we are now looking to launch further expansion through 2013.
The first part of that expansion is the opening of our new Financial Services Club, Poland, at the British Embassy in Warsaw on 17th April, 2013.
The meeting will start at 18:00 and will be addressed by Professor Grzegorz Kołodko, the former Deputy Prime Minister of Poland and chaired by Mieczysław Groszek , Ph.D., Vice President of the Polish Bank Association and representative of the Association at the Executive Committee of the European Banking Federation
Professor Kołodko will discuss the future of Europe and the Euro from the perspective of an economist and linchpin in reforming Poland from the breakup of the Communist era through to membership of the European Union.
This meeting will be followed by our second meeting where Professor Jakub Górka of Warsaw University and David Birch, Digital Money Guru at Consult Hyperion will discuss the future of money in early June.
If you would like to attend either meeting, please RSVP to chris.skinner@fsclub.co.uk

This group now meets two to three times a month, twenty five times a year, and holds a Quarterly Dinner where the most respected voices in finance gather, attracting over 100 people to each event.
This Club has also recently launched a specific group to focus upon the challenges of post-trade operations in the City of London (the Clearing and Settlement Working Group).
The Financial Services Club Ireland opened in 2006, Austria in 2007, Scotland in 2009 and Poland in 2013.
You can see the future and past program of meetings for London at our website, www.fsclub.co.uk or for Europe at www.fsclub.net
Is it not possible to have this club office opened in India?

Good luck with your launch of the Polish Financial Serices Club! As the most active market for innovation in CEE, you've picked a great palace to expand your franchise.
