Edward Harkins

Maybe this USA scenario is like those theories of paradigms and empires. At the very point at which the Empire seems at its greatest and most complacent in its uses of power (or its non-use of the power of self-discipline to maintain what originally made it great), that is when the internal fissures and cracks are already opening up deep within and will suddenly explode upon the surface.

I know that that when this happened with the collapse of the USSR I had to admit that for me that was a wholly unanticipated event at that time for. In immediate hindsight it was clear that it was a classic paradigm/ empire scenario.

Danny from DPA Claims

'PPI claims in hundreds each day" - I am sorry BBC but stick at least one zero on the end, I know several PPI companies dealing with thousands a day each.

Thanks for bringing the article to my attention Chris, who needs Google when you tell me everything worth reading!
