Hi Chris,

This is a good list where, for the political forces, you may want to add the upcoming French presidential elections (in just 3 months).

Jonathan Charley

Great list Chris. The challenge for the banks is not to come up with a strategy but to execute on it. The failure to execute is the reason there are so many mediocre banks out there.

Chris Skinner

Thanks Henrik

As mentioned, it's a non-exhaustive list. Anyone else welcome to add and contribute btw.

Chris

Chris, bang on the money! This should be required reading for any IT sales person with a solution (enterprise or not)or a product that they want to sell into the financial services sector.

Guy De Koninck

Hi Chris,

I'd like to add Ecology. It is leading to a new economy (think "small is beautiful" or "Betterness" replacing busi-ness) and that social change, as shown in several of the topics in your list, is having the greatest impact on banking.
