Landsbanki is defunct. The NBI listed in the Commercial section is New Landsbanki, the domestic section that was hived off and is still active.

Arion=New Kaupthing, Islandsbanki=New Glitnir.

I stand corrected. It looks like the old bank was called Landsbanki Islands hf and the new bank called itself Landsbankinn hf.

Should have been clearer. What I meant is that Landsbanki is not defunct, just renamed Landsbankinn.
