I enjoyed reading your post on the growing trend of niche banking. Although banks have started to seek out more highly segmented markets, many will still have a heavy focus on branch banking (even if their number of branches is shrinking). There are benefits offered by branch banking that provide value for consumers and banks alike, but are lost in other channels.
